Its not too bad, but you do remind me of a short lived career I started with a friend in about 1956. We decided to enroll in the Northwest School of Taxidermy. All was going well until the day we were boiling a squirrel skull in one of his Mothers pots on her kitchen stove. That was when we decided a paper route was an easier occupation. Do you know how stinky a boiling squirrel skull is?

I dunno....I tried to save a few pennies and took my cousin's horse saddle....but when I tossed it on the squirrel to strap it on just before I was gonna mount it and ride it....the saddle ring hit it in the head and it died. Last time I'll attempt something like that. smileys-whistling-823718

Attachment Deleted yep i know a deer one stinks..... you just skin the squirrel and they have a Styrofoam mold that you put the hide on. so the only part of squirrel being used is the hide

I wouldn't post a picture.By ground squirrel,I'm assuming you're referring to a chipmunk.I'm not trying be an internet WCO but chipmunks are protected.Just don't want to see you get pinched.Otherwise, kill everyone of those little buggers you see.

Gotcha.I'm not trying to say you're stupid. At one time chipmunks were listed in the digest as open year round. Some years ago that changed and now there's no open season on them.

I took the Northwest School of Taxidermy, lessons in the early 70's. Still use some of what I had learned. I still have most of the books.
