Maybe you should bottle and sell what you are putting in that mock scrape?

At least take the label off the Gatorade bottles when you ship them!

Seriously, I have in the past peed in existing scrapes and noticed an increase in activity in them. This might be worth a try. Obviously it worked for you.

Been doing it for a few years. It helps.
Obviously, GH has "something" in him that brings in the big ones.

My wife gives me hell all the time because when I am mowing, I pee in the yard. I took this pic early last spring from inside my house, looking at the back yard. The big white thing is my shooting target holder......it is 140 yards from the house. I think Dutch is right...........

I made one a few years ago and had hoof prints in mine. Wasn't sure how well it worked because the area has a lot of deer and didn't know if it was one who just stepped in it by accident. I haven't seen a scrape yet usually there is one by my arhery tree.

Uh-huh. I have even been known to not carry a pee bottle in my tree stands. Been more than once over the years i have had a deer pick up the fresh pee scent and come closer to investigate. Fact is, it just happened Saturday evening. I video taped a small buck that came out in the field, got down wind of me, smelled me and proceeded to come back to within about 20 yards of my stand. Sniffing all the way. I had just peed from the stand about 5 minutes before he came out.

I stopped carrying a pee bottle some years ago, Glenn. It was about the same time that I read someplace or another that urine was urine, and deer and human urine smelled the same in general. It was also about the same time that I started peeing in scrapes.

Now if you really want to stir up a rut crazed buck, eat some Asparagus before the hunt! Yep, pee is basically, well pee that rapidly turns to ammonia. However, I will admit that some species seem to add a unique smell of some kind to their urine. For example, Fox and Cat pee. Just a little update on week two. I got two bucks using it on the 2nd week. I decided to put another scrape close to my treestand so hopefully i can get them using it also. Here are the pics of the two bucks from last week I did see a nice buck in stand on Sat morning. He was dogging a doe grunting non stop. I videoed him (out of range) and here is a screen cap of him. blurry pic from me trying to zoom in. was going to take the dog grouse hunting this afternoon but its to be 75 so i may go get in the tree stand.
