Recently, there have been some locked threads, even a removed thread.
Threads run their course, things get nasty, members get nasty towards each other and things escalate.
When this happens, people get their hackles up, members leave, new members or prospective members go elsewhere.
Guess what? Yer all ADULTS. Act like it.
You wanna call someone "stupid", then expect consequences. Tired of playing hall monitor to people that should know better.
Keep threads and comments respectful and on topic, thats all I ask. I don't need the aggravation of policing foolishness.
Right now, I do NEED to help my Dad find out what an upcoming heart procedure is all about and lessen his fears over it.
If any of you think you have a right to speak freely here, you don't. And if any of you think this message board is all fired up important, it isn't.
Many things are far more important, like an 86 year old who's heart ain't working right.
Keep things in perspective here folks.

I've seen a lot of people on here poking people with sticks lately.
I stayed on but didn't post a whole lot for a while because I started poking people with sticks too; and that isn't who I want to be.
How about we all agree to stop the name calling on here in all directions?
Threads with good information are getting locked because people on both sides are over the top. Not cool to those of us who want information or HAVE information to post on the subject.
I just said to Brad; we don't lock the bar and refuse to serve everyone because someone in there has a drinking problem. There shouldn't be a need to lock threads and we shouldn't call others names because they have an opinion; even if their opinion is flat out wrong- ---- and that statement isn't directed at anything, or anyone in particular. It could be any one of us on any topic.

You have your priorities right, Dutch. Your Dad's health is far more important than anything else you could possibly be involved in righ now. Take care of him. You can't replace him at WalMart. thumbsup

Thank you George. He decided not to have the procedure done at this time.
Next week he hopes to head to camp. I hope he does. I think it is where he feels most at home.
