My brother's dog goes for some bird work with Ryan Frame, who used to work under Dave Hughes. Ryan seems to have a great approach with dogs. Ti is really coming along since working with Ryan. Here are a couple pics: And here are 2 started dogs, maybe 6 months old? He's been working with these since they were born. These are going to be great dogs.

Ryan has been working with my pup Hanna also. He has over 20 years of experience with dogs. He has a soft hand and can read a dogs mind. I really wanted Tom Gingher at KnobMtn to work her but it was not meant to be as Tom passed away in May. But it has worked out very well as Hanna responds very well to Ryan and he is only 15 minutes from my house.
Ti is looking better all the time!!

I'm amazed at how well she has come along since working with Ryan, and pretty quickly. He must have the "touch". Was interesting watching the techniques he uses.
I will admit, I was worried about her. Knew she was a very birdy dog, but wasn't sure she could control herself. Ryan is proving me wrong.
Hope we can get her and Hanna out this winter on some chukars. Would love to see the 2 together.

Someone drop me a pm with Ryan's address?
I remember Dave Hughes from when I was running field trials. I used to go to the occasional grouse trial or futurity, and Dave was a fixture.

Better make it Potter County for some grouse, there is enough real estate up there!! Should have seen them 2 weeks ago!! Bird Dogs gone wild!! In a good way

Agreed, enough room to stretch their legs, but can the old duffers keep up?
