... captured on my first new trail cam. I put out bait, a hotdog, left over pork and beans and half a bun.
Sure enough,
next day I had 7 photos taken.
This one was the most telling. The camera was angled downward very nicely.
Looks like half Bigfoot
and half
some other kind of primate, or maybe just a weird looking bear.
Can you identify it?
Course the food was eaten and the paper plates scattered.

Yeah, that's all i got. Must have been small creatures, ground squirrels maybe, that ate the food and scattered the plates. So a small animal will not trip the camera then. Got NO photos of the bandits. i guess you can't delete all photos at the same time? Must delete one at a time?
Okay, here's some shots of the ghost deer, bighorn, and the ole man mule deer of the woods, taken a few years ago, not with a trail cam.

When you said you put out a hot dog and half of a bun I was going to say a Philly's fan. But then I can't see any headgear (hat) so I'm not really sure what he is!!
I'll tell ya what though, that last picture is one fine looking mule deer!

Yeah, his head looks small compared to his rack. Out here they call that a 5 pointer or 5 by 5. That was at 20 yards.

I've had birds and rabbits trip my cams.

Good to know Dutch. I don't know what the deal was then. My cam was at about 15 feet. Maybe it's and older, not so sensitive cam then...it is a Swann trail cam. The 3 or 4 photos just showed blank, that is nothing there. . . something tripped it, but no photo of what tripped it.

Some cameras have very slow trigger speeds, and you get a lot of blank pics.
Face the camera towards the expected area the animal might come from, you get less blanks.
