I'd rather have 2 so-so cameras out, than to have one fantabulous $250 camera out there. With trail cameras, more is better, to a point tho.

I have a Bushnell Trophy Cam and an M-80 and the M-80 takes signifcantly better night pictures than the Trophy Cam. I've been very happy with the M-80, especially for the price.

That was my thought when I bought the 2-pack Wildgame Innovations IR cams for $125. They are doing just fine and pretty much have been outside since I got them. Reminds me, I need to go check them... I did get my FIL and MIL a Spypoint IR-7 for xmas this year... so we'll see how that one does, as it come highly rated. But it cost more, even though I got it on sale.

" Yes, we have such a wonderful son in law, he even bought us a trail camera for Christmas." Can't imagine there are many In Laws that would be saying that......

Man, you talk about someone hard to shop for, that would be my FIL. We usually stick to food & drink gifts but he seemed to be intrigued by my trail cam pics of where we hunt. So, why not?! My wife ran it by my MIL and she said to give it as a gift to both of them because she wants to use it too around the house! So maybe I am a wonderful son-in-law?!?!?!

Please let us know how this works & holds up as it was a demo. That's a great deal as long as they weren't abused. I wonder if they are refurbished?

I've had several trophy cams and currently have one M-80.I had nothing but problems with the trophy cams and when a bear finally killed the last one,I went to the Moultrie. So far so good.

I called Natchez on it and "Demos" are different then refurbished. The man said that demos may have some scratches and marks on it but haven't been used. Mine looks brand new in the box with all the accessories. As I said the last one I had was excellent and I'm now using an M80 which is okay too, but I liked the Bushnell better. Different strokes I guess.... Muab

I am curious as to what kinds of problems you had with trophy cams, Doug. I have had three of them, and while two of them worked well, one just stops taking photos after a few shots have been taken. It is over the warranty period so I decided to just junk it and bought a moultrie M80 which has worked really well. One other problem I had was that the trophy cam would sometimes take half frame photos where the top of the photo was good but the bottom half seemed overexposed. I will try to get one and post it so you can see what I'm saying.

Well, the nightime photos were terrible. Two of them went on tangents where they just started taking pictures every minute of absolutely nothing. The pictures at dawn and dusk where almost always complete whiteouts.I send them back and they always send me a new one.Unfortunately, they problems always came back with them.

dougell: Gotta admit that the "white outs" at times did get annoying. But nothing I couldn't live with. I came to the conclusion that it was the cams position and the sun's position that caused them. Don't know...but I did like the overall performance of the cam.

90% OF THE PICTURES WERE DURING THAT WHITEOUT PERIOD.I tried repositions the camera but the results were always the same.
