Found this on Youtube. Interesting responses by deer to trail cams and how high we hang them.
Might change the way I do things this year.

I agree Dutch. Food for thought as we hardly ever use video...I may just start out that way this year to see what I've been missing. Interesting....and thanks!

There are some nice videos and pics on there though. All I use is the video mode on my camera, when its out.

One thing I agree with, mature bucks hate cameras, and they are about the best way to move one out of your area.

So put it head high so what would be too high? Yes, head high or 6 ft or so. I have never used video mode, but instead have it take 3 pics with each trigger, you get the deer that was coming behind the one that just walked in front. Not sure, but I think my night time video is only 5 seconds?
