I use a drone here in the summer. But just around the pools. I won't tell you why.....but I have a pile of these things called "restraining orders" on my table. Hey....I don't get it. If the defense department can do it....why can't I? And darn it.....they took all of my pictures of the 20-something all girl nude diving party from last summer that was across the street. Now....who said a 20 foot high fence was meant for "privacy"?
No sense of humor....some people got no sense of humor.......

Ok, this may seem like an odd question.....but I recall when I was a young man, probably in my late teens or early twenties, reading either Outdoor Life or F&S, an article on deer hunting about how to "move deer" when you were hunting by yourself. Now, I believe this hunter was out west, so it wasn't here in Pa.. But I still recall this and still find it\found it to be interesting. I don't know how successful it would be, but like playing the lottery, you can't win if you don't play. So this rifle hunter was sitting there with a slingshot, and a bag with steel marble size balls. He was sling-shooting 'em probably 100 yards over a brushy area, and the brush was at least anywhere from 4' to 6' high. He would aim his slingshot "shots" from left to right to cover (I'm going off of over decades of memory here) maybe a 35-degree swath of area. He would sling this steel out and then move it in a bit closer....if I recall taking about ten to maybe at most fifteen shots, then wait ten minutes, then do it again. The noise would be enough to spook any deer that were laying there and he had patterned the area so he had a "chance" of the deer coming his way. So, my question is.....is this a legal method to use here in Pa.? I can't attest for "is it a good method" or not. Just asking if it's legal? Dave That's a fancy way to describe a litterbug...think about it.

Is slinging a steel ball any different that shooting steel from a 12ga. shot shell? Dave

Makes scents to me I tried that once. The land was then declared an environmental hazard and had to be cleaned up using millions of dollars in Federal Haz-Mat Superfund $$$. fighting0078
