Has been a year since Tiadaghton has come into our lives. Been a difficult year for her, to say the least. My brother, her owner, broke his leg, badly, in late June, sidelining him for a very long while. Ti got hit by a car in July while Kath and I had her. She became the "alpha dog" due to a lack of discipline and she was a miserable little bugger to be around. Well, Dave has been working her now, alone with some others, and shes figuring out where her place is in the hierarchy. A new e collar may also help her out. She's a little thing, 30 lbs and full of energy and loves to run, which has been the biggest problem. They have been working her on quail, chukars, and pigeons and she's really coming around, getting down to business. Some pics of her from last Sunday, on point.

like most of us they get better with age and practice. Plenty of birds being the key,the bonus is shooting pigeons is great fun too.

She's getting on birds regularly. Chukars and pigeons.
In the spring, maybe we'll see how she does on some grouse, but early on.

She's a pretty little dog there!! She's only 30 lbs, but thinks she's a lap dog. She'll be standing beside you and just leap up onto your lap. Very agile, and can be a real sweetheart. One thing I think is cool is she has bloodlines to the dog she replaced, and also lineage to dogs that Mutt used to run.

A good pointer is tough to come by. When you get one and hunt over it....it's a true treasure. (Plus the work that goes into the training is unmeasurable)
