After trying last year and a few times this season, my nephew Rusty finally scored on his first squirrel on Saturday. It was very satisfying to see that gleam in his eye and the enthusiasm. Brought back so many memories. You would have though he just dropped a monster ten point buck! The bears can wait for another day.

Very nice. I was out with a friends son for squirrels a few times this fall. Getting a stinking squirrel cam sometimes be so tough. Congrats to him.

Love pics of kids with their harvests! How old is he? He's ten years old and I can tell already that he'll be a lifetime hunter from his enthusiasm. There is no quit in the kid when it comes to hunting. At lunchtime back at the vehicles trying to warm up he looks at our group and says "Come on! I just want to hunt!!!" lol
