I have a M-80XD like Brad and really like it. Only issue is it quit taking pics but I sent it back and Moultrie replaced it with a brand new one. For the money they take nice pics.
I got 2 Covert MP6 Blacks this year and they take nice pics as well. One of them just quit taking pics though so will probably be sending it back as well. I don't think anyone makes a very dependable camera these days. Just pick one that takes nice pictures and roll the dice on dependability IMO.

I liked the 880's improved 100ft night range from 60' plus the MP upgrade to 8 over the M-80's 5MP. My first one to play with. Should be here tomorrow.

We stick these things out in rain, snow, freezing temps, etc, and allow bears to knock them around, so, they ain't gonna last forever, right? I have not tried the lithium batteries, and have wondered if they were worth the cost.

Brad per my xperience with lithium batts in my SPOT Satellite GPS Emergency Transmitter they are well worth a few bucks more when you want the best. I will be usin them in my Moultrie M-880.
