After I clean my inline for the year I always smear just a little white, lithium grease on the threads. I bought a tube probably ten years ago and it hardly looks like I've used any out of the tube because I smear so little on the threads. Never had a problem. Anyone that services large appliances should have some in stock.

Don't shoot linlines much but use a purple colored breech plug grease called Gorilla grease when I do. Never had any trouble removing breech plug even after shooting Triple 7 powder, but always loosen breech plug a quarter turn or so when done shooting and before leaving the range.

I really like the Permatex Anti- Seize 133A for most applications which is availabl in most auto supply stores. If ur into shooting super hot loads or if you have a Savage Smokeless 10ML I suggest The Stik which is a Nickel based Anti-Seize which is great in super hot loads..
