Looks like Obama is 10 points ahead in Ohio. Someone on here said he thought this was gonna be a blowout and I'm thinking he may be right. I am not looking forward to 4 more years of 2 parties not working together for this country. More obstructionist governance. Very sad.

If they don't pass any bills they can't screw things up any worse than they already have. I have no faith that they'll make anything better. I'm more concerned with Obama winning and being able to nominate a couple of Supreme Court justices. That's a scary thought.

Mitt is still saying he's gonna win--Maybe he's got something up his sleeve to use during the debates

I don't believe the polls either.. the media is not to be trusted and any poll can be structured to get the results you want. However, there is no question it will be a close race. And it really does not matter who the candidates are. Such a large percentage of the country's current electorate think the Govt owes them a check each month and will pull the D lever regardless of who is running. That is the perception of the average voter. No clue about reality, just the perception a Democrat will continue to send them a check and Govt financed abortions. It's hard to understand how a liberal can be elected when virtually everybody that I know who has a real job or business, and lives in the rural areas is a staunch conservative and votes. But, like in the Democrat controlled state that I live in, Maryland, Democrats consistently win with the votes from the major population areas. The entire state of Maryland is conservative except for the three counties around the major metro areas. Maryland is a lot like the United States in miniature. The real concern to me as bake mentioned above is the reality the next POTUS will appoint at least two Justices to the Supreme Court. As we should all know by now, Justices on the Supreme Court do not care about the Constitution or written law, they legislate from the bench based on their own personal political views and druthers. SCOTUS may well be the most dangerous factor in the continued prosperity of this country. :/

Polls schmolls... They are using the same % turnout from 08 to make their results look better than they actually are.
If Americans simply open their eyes, take a good look around, check out Barrack Hussein Obama's past instead of just following their own selfishness or following the Party line, then we will have a new President.

Yep, polls can be squewered to give whatever result you are looking for. Doesn't matter how many people you poll, you just need to poll from the right lists. ;D
If people think the margins are too great, they will not bother to vote, thinking their vote has no chance of helping their candidate win.

Right you are Melody.. that is one of the major reasons I get really irritated at all the media polls.. People do not want to be associated with a loser so if convinced by the media their candidate has no chance they will not vote at all. It is an easy out. No vote is better than having to admit to your friends that you voted for a loser. Plus voting for a loser makes people think they must somehow be stupid.. I think polling about elections should be outlawed. :/

I agree Glenn, no polling. That said, if many polls say the same thing, then i believe we need to take notice.

These skewed polls energize me. Who in there right mind is going to let the liberal media bias tell them whether or not they should bother to show up at the voting booth??
That's nothing but a cop out.
