I'm having a slow start with the cabbing, Attachment Deleted but the Middle Bay has been holding a nice class of striper again this year.

A nice class of HH this year to. I'm not sure, but I think the admiral might prefer them to the strippers. Them buggers are fun on the light sticks. Attachment Deleted

Ok, is a striper the same thing as a rockfish?
My aunt and uncle fished for rockfish in the 60's in the bay. They used to bring them to us and I don't think I ever tasted a stronger fish.

Yep Dutch...a striper is the same thing as a rockfish. In MD & deep Southern PA...rockfish is whut we callem & most elsewheres...their called stripers!! Cooked/prepared properly you won't find a much better sw fish!! My Chef Daughter has prepared some for me & was outstanding!!
