Anyone have a beater 30-30 Win. '94 with a decent bore they're looking to unload at an appropriate price?

Well Jim, I'm thinking in the $200-250 range. That's assuming a non-modified (swivel studs okay) post'64 '94 w/"mystery metal" scratched-up receiver that's freckled with rust/bluing wear throughout on metal parts/lack of finish on stock w/dings and scratches/no extra holes drilled in the receiver for scope mount, no safety, no angle eject...a typical older used and abused PA Win.'94. However the bore and inner mechanics need to be good and 100% reliable. Granted it's a low end price but it's a low end rifle I'm looking for. Just need a a short light repeater/beater for woods walking in the summer. Not looking for a prom queen, just a girl who can cook....

I have what your talking about but wouldn' sell it because my grandfather gave it to me. I am going to the gunsmith tom to see what he will give me for my 2506 I have posted here and have seen them there a lot I will take a look and see what he has and what he is pricing them for.

Thanks Stroupy. Can't blame you at all for keep'n your Grandpa's rifle. Those you keep forever. As far as pricing is concerned most folk are try'n to get upwards of $400 for the type of rifle I described above simply because Winchester Co. went down the tubes. I'm not gonna pay that. I just passed on one at our local Gander for $250 about two months ago before I decided to seriously look for one...they're out there. Patience is the key.

One last try...lean'n towards a pre'64 '94 now and an appropriately higher cost. Anything out there?

Never mind Jim; I just picked up a shooter grade pre '64 '94 off of Gunbroker. But thanks anyway.
