If your a small game hunter in Pa., you should be pretty excited about these positive results. Now we just have to duplicate this in other areas of the State.

If we could reseed half the CREP acres in PA in switchgrass, it's a done deal.

100,000 acres at $500 per acre maybe?

I wouuld say $100 to $125 an acre. Hopefully private landowners will plant their own land once it is proven what needs to be done to have birds on their property. If landowners would just plant 10 to 15 acres on their property, the results would be amazing. This investment of a few thousand dollars would reap benefits for many years because switchgrass doesn't need to be replanted.
