For anyone that has been following or is interested in the Wild Pheasant Plan in Pennsylvania, I recommend you read the article in the Summer edition of PF Journal Of Upland Conservation. The story "On The Verge" talks about the possibility of a hunt for wild pheasants, but more importantly the success of the program so far. It also gives some much deserved credit to the Appleman family for all their hard work. Great to see Pennsylvania in a national publication.

Well, for those of us that do not have access to this publication, how about some details?
Would like to hear all about it.

The Upland Journal is published 5 times a year and is a well written, colorful magazine. It contains valuable information on gun dogs, habitat, government programs, firearms and of course pheasants.
This particular article was done by a feature called, Pheasant County Explorer, basically what this is, they travel the nation looking for "worthy" stories on upland bird restoration. It's exciting to be chosen by them! The article was describing the recent success, future possible hunting, and acknowledging many of the people that have done the hard work.
