I mainly was using Triple Se7en Magnum pellets for quite a few years in my inline but last year switched to BH209. Man...whut a great move by ole Loggy!! It burns really clean, no crudline, no swabbing between shots & I found it to be the most uniform BP Sub out there!! I have achieved outstanding groups with BH209 & can't imagine anything else that will ever top it...of course a number of years ago i said the same thing about T-7 Mag Pills!! ;D

Hi woodsrat.
I mainly shoot/hunt with my 50 cal TC ProHunter.
I also have a White Rifles Custom Super 91 .504 built by "Doc "White himself which I run 3fg Swiss through in shooting heavyweight conicals. It's my back-up in case on a trip my TC fails me which likely will never happen. It's a "slip fit" type custom Wilson Barrel designed to shoot .503/.5035 conicals in 460-495 grains.

Hi Loggy, Think that I may give the blackhorn a try in my TC 50 cal. pro hunter, Always used the triple 7 pellets just because it seemed a little eaiser and maybe a faster reload. How many grains do you use in yours?
Can I use the swiss in my flintlocks, No sure where I can find some at for sure.
Thanks

It gives me comparable results as 2 T-7 60 grain Magnum pellets. I would start with 100 grains of BH209 & work up pending whut 100 grains produces. I'm pushing a Barnes 290 grain .451 290 grain Spit-Fire T-EZ FB out of my TC Pro Hunter.. Yes...the Swiss is real blackpowder & is outstanding in flinters. Very clean burning plus you can back off 10% whut your loading w/Goex with same results. Dixons carry it. www.dixonmuzzleloading.com/Mebbie ck with schuetzen to see if any dealers are in your area(Call one of the distributors below & ask for closest retailer). www.schuetzenpowder.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=50&Itemid=55
