In order to get this through the legislature, dutch, the legiscritters themselves will have to agree that they will become part time legiscritters and thus give up all their perks and goodies. Do you actually think that will happen or is Cuttler just grandstanding?

I can support this as well, but calling it an uphill battle is an understatement. I'd say its more like trying to scale the face of a cliff without any rope or safety equipment is a more appropriate analogy.

They won't do it. It would take some kind of ballot action. They won't take from themselves. Not human nature. They see themselves as superior to us, not as our servants.
