Loggy.. Here's one of my favorite gobbler picture's... Played with bird all morning, but he would talk, but wanted me to come to his party... So I pulled out and went home to cut the grass.. Went back at 11AM to see if his ladies left him and see if he wanted to play now.. He was right where I left him earlier... The rest is history.. Gun in pic is my Dad's old Remington..

Rich that has to be one of the prettiest pictures I've ever seen of a dead gobbler. The irredescent colors are gorgeous. Most of my pics turn out like Loggy's with mottled colors. I mean, you can see the irredescent feathers on his but certainly not like yours. That picture of yours is like something you'd see on a calendar.

That is a Charles daily. I loved the gun because it was very light but I took it on a duck hunt and a piece on the bolt broke and I can't find parts for it. So now it is a parts gun if anyone needs it and I now carry my SBE II.

Here's a few of the mounts my WIFE and I have ... The wife's Potter county bird with 1 1/2" spurs and two beards A Huntington county bird I took with a 12 1/4" beard and 5 strands that were 13 5/8" These are "our" Merriams shot in Idaho on a self guided, self filmed hunt on our honeymoon. Yes her's is the one on top and yes it does have three beards and is currently the Idaho NWTF record. And finally my Osceola that I took in 2007 three months after our daughter was born and since this pic was taken she made that longbeard into a jake last summer with a pair of scissors Not a mount but one of my favorite turkey pics. Our daughter checking out one of mom's longbeards that she harvested on her mother's day hunt. The wife has harvested a gobbler 5 out 6 years on mother's day since having our daughter.
