I just saw a report online that Mike Pence has taken a job at the college. He will be teaching at the school’s new Center for Faith & Public Life. This department will focus on supporting the “presence of Christian faith” in public places. It is not known if that means in government or other public institutions like schools.

A fellow IRS Agent went there. He always had high regards for Grove City and seemed to have gotten a solid accounting/financial education there. In HS he graduated top of his class.

My nieces husband with his Grove education became a CPA. She got a finance degree and was working at a Christian non profit with her degree. In early 2018 they were approved to operate a Chick FIL A in West Virginia. Last year, they moved on to a larger CFA closer to home, near Downingtown PA. Those Finance degrees have come in handy. He says he spent four years in college just to work at a fast food restaurant selling chicken. LOL

I really enjoyed visiting the smaller private schools when my sons were applying to colleges. The majority of the students on these campuses appear to be much more studious and respectful than we saw at the state schools. I would not pay the high tuition of a private school to get a degree that a state school might be known for, but for some degrees the education and reputation can make the higher costs money well spent. And with scholarships etc. the increase is often not that great.
