Decent first day out of the season!! Likely the clarity of the water didn't help at least in the shallow cove areas plus maybe were a lil fed-up with debris etc in water? I know with poor water clarity on the flounder fishing the bite pretty much turns off. They lay on the bottom with both eyes looking up and hit primarily on sight. I think cats are a lil different relying primarily on smell??? I'm heading to my VA place end of month to open-up and get boat ready. Can't wait!! Thanks for posting report...helps get those juices flowin!!

Water warms up a little more and the spring bit should be on for the cats.

Do you ever eat the catfish? I love frying up some cats every once in a while.
