Just a big hairy coincidence, Dutch, but I have a pheasant neck hackle right here on my desktop. You need? Sorry, I don't, I don't tie flies. Plus, I tend to shoot my pheasants,on the fly, in the head, so I don't mess up those hackles. 😂 Yes, I'm THAT good.

You can tie a bunch of pheasant tail nymphs with one pheasant tail.

You can tie a bunch of pheasant tail nymphs with one pheasant tail. I saw two beautiful cockbirds in a yard the other day, I should have pulled their tail feathers out for you. I'm sure they wouldn't have minded?😊

I'm sure they wouldn't have minded?😊 You need a good Golden Retriever that likes to chase 'em. My former neighbor had one and at least once a week came home with a birds tail feathers in his mouth!!

40-50 years ago, you could get double the nymph material out of one Pheasant Tail. SHRINKFLATION !!!
