So with this new crossbow going at 380 fps, I'm going to use mechanical broadheads. My last experience with them 20 years ago wasn't great. That said, Bake545 showed me a pic of his kill using a Rage. As he said, a blood trail that even Stevie Wonder books follow.
I'm guessing that's how I'm going to go, but does anyone else have something better??

I gave up trying to find the perfect broadhead. Everybody has their favorites until there is a bad outcome then it becomes the broadheads fault. I usually ask what did I do wrong instead instead of blaming the equipment.
With that said, I have been shooting 2 blade 2 inch Swhackers for about 5 years now. Just make sure to shoot your broadheads to make sure they are hitting where the field points do. A broadhead to consider the the SEVR. It is also a 2 blade broadhead but the blades caqn be locked shut with a screw so you can shoot the broadheads that you will actually hunt with as practice. I killed a few deer with them as well and they perfromed like my Swhackers.

I think I'll just try the Rages. Buddy of mine that has shot a ton of deer in Maryland, hundreds, swears by them. I'll keep the STs on the other crossbows I have
