Guess in the April 14/15 meeting it will be announced. Wonder if they will sigificantly increase/decrease from prior seasons 948,000 allotment in light of implementation of the new license issuance system?? Hopefully, any significant changes are solely driven by resource manage priorities.

They won't release the harvest data til the 3rd week of march.I doubt you'll see much change. We leased 1500 acres last year that was previously owned by Seneca resource,DMAP'd and open to the public.I've hunted it for 25 years and rarely saw another hunter. We have 15 members plus some wives and kids.I never saw pressure in my life like I did this past years. These guys hammer it hard and kill some deer.Last week the forester for the new timber company asked for a deer season talley.I worked out with the guy this morning who gathered all the info and without everyone getting back to him yet, there were 16 bucks and 20+ doe killed. That's a harvest rate of about 16 dpsm.I spent part of saturday and sunday walking the property and it didn't even look like they put a dent in the deer.Last year there was no mast crop and the deer were pretty scarce. This year we had a good mast crop in an area that actually actually had a poor mast crop overall. It's amazing what a slight change of elevation can mean with a mast crop.
