The wind is taking the leaves down so here are a few shots from around our house. There are a couple of deer in the last one.

Beautiful. We are just getting to peak here. Its been a long time since the leaves were gone by Halloween around here. Maybe this year it will happen. When I was a kid, the leaves were usually long gone by Halloween.

At camp the weekend of Oct. 8. Bestest leaf color I've seen there in years/

Even down here, the leaves were fairly vibrant in color this year. Most recent years, they have gone from drab, to on the ground... never really turning all that much.

I'm a fairly big spender when it comes to the ladies. 35 years ago, I spent a honeymoon in Grand Canyon, PA. 10/10 weekend. Little did I know, we couldn't find a room due to all the leaf loafers booking hotels. Reckon it was a bad omen from jump street.

Thats why it pays to buy a very nice plush car to sleep in...but being a big spender you would know that!

My sister & bil were up in Sully lasst week on their annual leaf peeping trip & said foilage was outstanding! Looks like their timing was just right. We were in Forksville, Estella, Bear mountain and Maple Lake area yesterday and many of the trees were bare or nearly bare..

I’m with denny , on the colors, I can’t remember when the last time was that we had the color we had this year, and I’m color blind.🤣

I will be up in Sullivan in about 2 weeks chasing some fall birds wishing I could be carrying my rifle with leaves being down opening-up visability. Bought a nice 22 mag year before PGC outlawed them for turkey. Great gun to carry for both squirrel & turkey.

I think the last time I fired it was around 1980 or so.
