My "chips" are sure falling. But not where the hell I hoped they would. After the next predicted 40-50 percent of the air deflates from the bubble you still should be able to afford a decent 6’ inflatable boat!!

But you are putting yourself at risk when you do it.” Inspectors from the Florida Department of Health combed through the restaurant’s kitchen and examined its oyster inventory the day after the man became ill. Oreal said the eatery passed “with flying colors and we were allowed to continue to sell oysters.” An oyster contaminated with Vibrio bacteria doesn’t make the shellfish look, smell, or taste any different. According to the Centers for Disease Control, about 80,000 people get vibriosis in the U.S. each year, and about 100 people die from it.Earlier this month, a man in Pensacola died after contracting the bacteria from oysters he bought at a market, the Pensacola News Journal reported

Who the he** wants to eat an Oyster ? Raw or otherwise. I do dat! Raw, and also otherwise. I used to take some of my senior high students to a Wallops Island nature study thing. We did salt marsh tours and would pick up a bunch of oysters along the way. Back at the base I steamed them, but always shucked a few to eat raw. One of the students saw me do that and said, "Oh! You ate that raw! I'll never speak to you again." Promises, promises.
