Yeah. Crazy thing. My neighbor has these two little terriers that like to run around his house. Well, I was in my garage messing with my cart and those dogs were yipping and apparently chasing this chipmunk.
So, the chippy runs right past me and under my workbench. I look, but there's shelving units and cabinets that he must have ran behind.
So, I leave the garage door open for another 4 hours or so, thinking he's gone. Fast forward a few days and I had a container of newly picked apples that I had in the garage waiting for the Mr's to do her thing. So we come out to get the apples and one of 'em was half-eaten, and a close look showed animal teeth marks left in the remaining half.
One night and one mouse trap later I had a dead chippy.
Crazy thing is why would this animal decide to hold up in my garage, with no food source? (The apples were temporary)

My grandpap ate 'em like Bushy. He'd just singe the hair off in the fireplace.
