No, I was the kid who's mother would yell at to practice my calling outside because I would drive her nuts. Think I even drove her nuts when I was outside. Trust me, after knowing you the last 10 years, you drove your mother nuts 24/7/365!! ☺️ Not just her! 🤣

One of our hunters scored a 2 yo bird this morning. His dad will be back tomorrow to try it again. Congratulation to Kyle.

I punched tag #2 this morning at 10 after hanging out in a steady rain since daybreak. All it took was the rain to taper off for 10 minutes and I had a 2 year old run me over.

We've yet to make it out and I doubt we will.Jordan got pulled up to Varsity baseball as a sophmore and is having a pretty good year. They have games every saturday and he has to be at school every day by 7:30 so it's worthless to even try to get a hunt in.I can go any day I want but I have no desire to go without him.It was a strange year around the house.I haven't seen a bird in months and haven't heard any either.I was talking to my neighbor over the weekend and I asked him if he was seeing any.He said he hasn't seen any since the PGC was trapping them behind my house at the end of winter lol.I had no clue they were trapping them. and I have no clue what their motivation was.I assume it was for a mortality study but they flat out got outa Dodge.

My buddy got this yesterday. 20 lbs, 10 inch beard. Shot it close to my brothers ladder stand. Perfect place for a pic. He said he had three going at 9 AM, but this guy came in from behind. A load of 7 1/2 tungsten did the trick. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

I gave up the birds weren't gobbling. My neighbors brother has been out and hasn't heard a bird and he travels miles. A lot of guys are saying they are coming in silent. Silent birds are no fun.

One hen, 3 jakes and a gobbler been in yard last 3 days.Hen feeds close to house (30 yards) and jakes follow, but gobbler stays out around 80 yards or so.
For past few weeks there has been turkey activity in back yard of some sort. Not every day, but most.

I have been watching 3-5 gobblers just about every morning. I swing by on my way to work to watch them. Same corner of a field every morning.

4 gobblers this morning. Same spot. Guess they are in a safety zone Not with a bow. Surprised no one has made a move on them. But, few will hunt spring gobbler with a bow. I got a spot all picked out for next spring. Was in there and cleared a little spot for a blind between where they are roosted and where they seem to like to strut. Been anywhere for 1 to 5 gobblers just about every morning.

Are they talking? I've yet to hear a gobble this spring.

Are they talking? I've yet to hear a gobble this spring. Sporadic once on the ground. I snuck in there about a week ago before work and they lit up pretty good just before fly down.
