I am a newbie with these inlines. Is anyone shooting this configuration? I want to shoot the 777 pellets. Any bullet suggestions? Actually any shggestions are welcome...as I said I am a rookie to this format. Thanks in advance for any suggestions...Take care & stay safe!!

I have a TC ProHunter(Encore) basically same gun with a 26" barrel(1-28 twist) vs your 20" barrel(1-28). I initially shot 2 Magnum 777 pellets which approximates 120 comparable loose with a Barnes 290 grain .451 290 grain Spit-Fire T-EZ FB. Great combination but didn't like the crud ring that 777 is famous for. I switched to 110 grains of much cleaner burning BH209(Blackhorn) pushing the Barnes 290 grain .451 290 grain Spit-Fire T-EZ FB. Either load you will break 2,000 fps which is enough to bring an elephant down. I would initially start with less powder(70-80 grains) and work up with that 20" bbl to find an optimum load stabilizing/grouping best. Expect stout recoil but the TC FlexTech recoil reducing stock does a great job in cushioning. Best of luck and be sure to report back with range reports.

I am no muzzleloader expert, but I agree with Loggy on this one. I started with 777 in my CVA and cleaning was a pain. The BH209 is alot more pleasant to deal with when it comes to cleaning. Gun shot well with both powders.

I know nothing about inlines but nice to see a familiar name from the past again. I hope all is well Tim.

I never used the 777 pellets in my Encore front stuffer barrel. I've always used Blackhorn209....well, at times when just "plinking" at the range I will load 50gr of FF Goex black powder.
The BH209 is easy to clean and provides excellent velocity and groups.
Hope this helps!

SMH Last year I bot a "brick" of 209 primers for my T\C in-line. I can part with 800 of 'em. How many you want? These are Fiocci primers....made in France. They don't go BANG.....they go LE-BANG. They work on my T\C every time I pull the trigger. PM me with your address and how many you want. No charge.

Well Tim....I think I jumped the gun on the offer. From what I've researched primers being sent fall under the "Hazmat" rules and would require me paying the $20 hazmat fee to ship even one stinking primer. So.....if you like you could meet me at the Pitcarin\Monroeville gun club and pick em up. I shoot there almost every Sunday and its not "that far" from where you live. I know you don't want to pay the hazmat fee either.
