You PowerBelt fans may be interested in this one!! Platform appears to be the same principle as the PB. Looks like the gas check's skirt design was reconfigured for more reliable performance compared to the PB. Knowing Hornady's fine reputation...my guess it it will give the PB staunch competition for market share.

Another bullet with a skirt. Yup & then some in that the Hornady Bore Driver FTX is a copper jacketed(cup core construction) with Interlock design. The Power Belts are merely a thin copper jacketed(coated) lead bullet. I know many PB complaints are based upon poor penetration which I see the Hornady being a definite improvement.

Time will tell how it is accepted but per first look...I like what I see. I may have to try some in my TC ProHunter. Think they're only available in 290 grains. I'm currently shooting the Barnes saboted .451 290 grain Spit-Fire T-EZ FB and like them but always fun to see if there's sumpin I like better!!
