I purchased one of WF's wingbone calls a few years ago. I think he has 'em priced very reasonable. However, I did make some modifications to the call that not only make it easier to get the sound right, but my modifications were easy to do. If you look at the pic below you can see that I cut off the bottom part of the call (the "flared section"). After that I took my Dremel and sanded out any bone "juts" and I made the bell inside as smooth as I could. Careful if you do this as if you get too aggressive, you can sand your way thru the bone. The second, and IMHO most important mod was the mouth piece. Since I already had a Turpin suction call I copied the mouth piece. I took a piece of black plastic.....chucked it into my drill press and rounded it out. Then, I took a small drill bit (if you wanna know the size....ask, I will have to measure it) and drilled a hole thru it. Then I superglued the plastic piece into the mouth end. It clucks really fine!!! FWIW

Ya, that's cool. But, I don't even Turkey hunt. So not worried about sound. I just want it as a nice piece of "folk art" for my mancave. LOL. I can tell all my friends that some backwoods redneck from TX made it.
