My two brothers and I hunted at xxxx xxxxx today. The cover at that place is just incredible. It's a bird hunters dream. I've heard, and have myself, referred to the stocked pheasants as ditch chickens. They aren't. These birds are runners, some hold tight and let you walk by, then flush behind. They are skittish, and cagey. So, I ended up with two and missed two. Most of all, just a wonderful day with my brothers and two dogs. I will say this, Dave just got a dog last Thursday from a guy in Utah, and Jack is a wonderful dog, with a top notch nose. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

BTW, I shot a bird off of Jack's point. First time I ever did that. Man was that exciting. Had to have Jack pose for a pic, but he didn't want to, until I told him to Whoa, then he stayed put.
He's a great dog, even with his four bitches! 😂
