Here it is. Garmin's new laser range finding crossbow scope. Range the target with a push of a button and it calculates out a single aiming point to the yard. It is so much more than that though. I was involved in some early discussions with Garmin when they were in the design phase of this device. 6 weeks ago I got one of the first production samples to field test prior to today's product launch. OMG, is this scope sweet! The doe I shot last week was shot with the new X1i. Attachment Deleted

Will we ever get to a point where......................never mind. Been chasing them deers for almost two months now and still no buck to show for my efforts. It is still hunting. Garmin has had a Xero range finding sight for vertical bows for two years already.

Wow!! Funny but just a few days ago I began looking at the Leupold Vendetta 2. That buck I hit, I hit low & got liver. That’s a kill shot but the wait is not fun. I’ll have to look at this Garmin.

Is this to new to be on the market yet?
Wait....$1,000 for this is far beyond what I’d spend for a rangefinder for a bow or X-bow.
I know this does it all... but the Leupold provides the range for $229!!Thats a big price difference for a mounte rangefinder.

It is not legal in Pa cause it is capable of producing a visible beam.

According to the letter of the law, no device can emit a "visible" light on the target. The Vendetta 2 only uses a lazer beam to center the first pin (or in my case the scope 20yd crosshair). After sight in the lazer beam is not used.....BUT....the product still emit's a "visible light beam" that....even tho not used for ranging in any situation besides the initial sight in.....it still has that "feature." Whomp.....Whomp......

The Vendetta 2 does indeed seen a visible light but you can sight your bow in "setup" and then take the laser or light out of the vendetta 2 to make it legal.
