New member, so if I’m doing something wrong don’t hesitate to tell me. I wanted to get back into trapping to spend some time with my son in laws so I found a place in Spring Grove Pa called Fox Peak Outdoor Supply LLC or another name Fox Pro Snares. I ordered a Fox trapping starter kit on the 5th of September and have yet to receive it. Normally with the pandemic I would be a little more patient with this sort of thing. As I live approximately an hour from Spring Grove I find it hard to believe that it hasn’t arrived! I’ve tried email them to see if there was an issue but have received no response. Has anyone ever purchased anything from this company? If so do you have a phone number?

I've never bought from them but they have a 97% positive rating. I can't find a number for them. Please let us know what happens with your order.
If you are new to trapping, Paul Dobbins' trapperman site is a good one to check out. It's best to use their Strictly trapping part of the site to stay away from the politics. There are also links there to some good supply dealers.

Appreciate the help guys!!! I will check out the Dobbins site, and hopefully I’m just overreacting and my order will arrive soon! I agree about the 97% rating as well. They are on both eBay and Amazon! I’ll keep my fingers crossed and keep you guys up to date on what happens! Thanks again!!!

I ordered duckbill earth anchors from them back in June. They were delivered about 5 days after I placed the order. They use the USPS, and my experience has been it may take a week or even longer than UPS or FedEx. I had no issues with Fox Peak Outdoor Supply, the product was well made and nothing was missing from my order.

The USPS deliveries are slower than they used to be.

Fellas, thank you all for the help and advice. I went to eBay and used the “send seller a message” part and he answered me this afternoon. They told me that my package got lost at the post office, and it should arrive today!!! Yeah, I’m almost as giddy about catching one of the fishers that keep tearing down my scent ropes as I am about arrowing a big whitetail. Again thanks guys!!!!

Good luck with the fisher and the whitetail. I caught a fisher the first year they came out with the tags and two in the years before that. Letting them go is and adventure. I haven't tried catching one since but I might try to get a female to go with the male's pelt. They say the females have much nicer fur.

My son in law caught one last year on the edge of the property I hunt, he said he caught the “big” one! Till I showed him trail cam pics of at least 4 that were twice as big as the one he caught! That’s when he said I should start trapping again! I actually talked my wife into allowing a full mount of one if I’d happen to catch one! There is the real prize!!! Again, thank you all for the help and advice in this matter! Appreciate it!!!

The males look huge. People who aren't familiar with them are surprised when the see how long the pelt of the one I killed is. It's almost 4 feet long. I was surprised to find that the record, from Maine is only 20 pounds. Mine weigh 15-16. I was sure it was twenty when the boys and I were carrying it out. I'm glad the PGC limits them to one per trapper for now. They are really impressive animals.
I hope you let us know how you make out with your trapping. I still haven't decide if I'll try to catch another one or not. But they do show up in other sets so maybe I will get a tag.
