Whats yer favorite stream to fish for stockies?
For me, and I haven't been there in years, it has to be Clarks Creek in Dauphin County. There is a DHLFO section on there that I always liked.
Gotta be some of the smartest fish in the state in that clear water, or I'm the dumbest fisherman.
No comments on my fishin ability! LOL

I like fishing Salmon Creek in Forest County, especially in the fall. The fall stocking has been eliminated so that's pretty much over with. lol I usually don't fish it in the spring until the madness of the first few weeks dies down.

Back in th eearly 80's, I remember driving up thru the area of the Loyalsock. Gosh, that was a pretty creek. We wanted to run it in canoes back then and were just sorta scouting it for that, you might say.

For the past two years it's been Elevenmile creek in northwestern Potter county. It runs right through my brother back 360 acres and is about 80 yds from his back porch. Nice easy run to get a Budweiser when ya get the thirst and the bonfire is always rolling!

Last few years find myself fishing Lycoming creek more and more. Try new places on it every year and always seem to find a few fish. Know the local coop nursery puts in a ton of fish in a lot of the local streams.
