I am prohibited from bringing either sauerkraut or kielbasa to camp. A few years ago I made sauerkraut with kielbasa. The effect was to make the air unbreathable.

I wish someone would post something new! Every time I check the posts on this site and I get to this one, I get a hankering for liver smothered, and I mean smothered in onions. My Gosh!
When I first read this post my wife and I went to Johnnies Restaurant in Chambersburg and I got my liver and onions. It was floured and cooked tender to a tee! Best I've had in a while.

Yinzers who hate liver should stay away from camp Rip-N-Tear this coming week. I guarantee that if someone kills a deer, we're having lee ver and orneyons, and like most of the stuff I cook, there won't be any leftovers to throw out. Certainly not with Dave in camp.

Love liver and onions.....but I cook it myself because some places overcook it....that's the worst. And scrapple.. yum yum, we make our own hybrid...has deer bones, tounges, livers and hearts...plus a beef liver and heart.... And no cornmeal...roasted white corn flour instead
