I'm tired of paying $170 a month for a cell phone. Just seems stupid of me. Going to straight talk after this one is up. I pay less than 110/year for talk and text, stroupy..

Yeah, and my phone works at Deerfield, so I can call Ms. Doris and check to see if she is OK. How did you think I got so rich? LOL All I want a cell phone to do is to make phone calls and do some texting. I do take an occasional photo with mine and send it home via email, like this one of Dave doing what he does.

Nobody really "needs" a cell phone. It's really a matter of "want."

I don't know where they put them, but they sure didn't give any of the "G's" to turkeykiller.

Had to run over to Walmart earlier to get some club keys made. Yeah, I know. Didn't have time to drive another 20 minutes in late afternoon traffic to Lowe's. Walmart is five minutes from the club.
Keys are at the sporting goods counter. Guy standing there was next. Needed a hunting license, told me he'd been in there a few days earlier and they couldn't sell him one. He hasn't bought a license in 15 years, had one of the old cardboard ones in his hand. Said they'd entered his SS#, nothing came up. They'd told him he needed "his CID#" to get a license.
Explained to him that he had no CID number, because he hadn't bought a license since they came into being. Blank stare. Clerk entered his SS#, finally got it resolved. If he had a CID#, it would've been on the info strip on his PA driver's license. He bought a Senior Lifetime hunting license, said now he'd never have to go through that again. That's when I told him although he'll never have to spend any money, he WILL have to renew it next year.
He was not happy, but he did get a free Digest.
As for cell phones, all of mine have been free ones. Including the first one, an LG flip phone. I now have an IPhone Five. $40 per month, coupled onto one of her daughter-in-law's family bundle. Unlimited everything. The SheWolf upgraded to a newer IPhone last year, said I can have her IPhone Six. No hurry, the five works fine.

We use the Trac phone. Get service every where from Maine to S.TX. Minutes roll over, and $100.00 for a year and about 300 min. When I worked my work cell phone rang 24-7, no more real phones for me.
