What lakes do you favor for crappie, bluegill ??
I'm gonna ck out Lake Redman here in York County today to see how ice conditions are.

I remember when ponds and lakes used to freeze. Must be that global warming thing.

I remember when ponds and lakes used to freeze. Must be that global warming thing. Me too Dutch. We get a lil skim around here but never a good lock-up. My favorite crappie area was Broad Creek in MD ...a tributary to Conowingo Reservoir above the hydro plant. No ice there for several years . That was almost invariably locked-up bout Jan 1 through end of February years ago.

Well, I remember the winter of '38. Things froze up in October and we had ice clear in to April! LOL
