Looks like a wet , nasty forecast in store for the kids this Saturday. I wish they would go to a two day youth season for the kids. Either two different Saturdays or Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday but hell we all know the later will NEVER happen. Oh well hopefully daughter will still want to go out Saturday morning if the drops are hitting the roof.

Might as well give them a week of buck season before everybody else also. After all, they are the future.

I, like you, wish the youth season was two days. In case of a bad weather day, it is helpful to have another day in reserve.

We'll be out there if it's raining unless it's blowing rain.

LOL, I suggest giving the youth more opportunity to increase their interest in huntin, and you take it negatively. Aren't you the one who has been preaching "more opportunity" for the last 6 months?

Yeah. Thats exactly what you meant........... Too funny. The man that beeches about youth seasons constantly wants everyone to believe he is all for a week of buck hunting for the kids before everyone else. Okay............ You back yourself into corners more with every few posts.

Why not show your true support for youth seasons, and support an early youth buck season?

Why not show your true support for youth seasons, and support an early youth buck season? I would if it were proposed. Got no issues with youth opportunities. Several states have a separate youth rifle season for antlered deer.

Turkey......I got a call from my daughter this morning. This bird you see below slammed into their 2nd story bedroom window and fell on the driveway dead. She ask me what to do. I said bag it and toss it in the trash.....or call the game commission to pick it up. Crazy part is, she lives in Mt. Lebanon and it's all residential. With deer everywhere. This is the first I've seen turkey.

I would be in support of any type or as many youth days before any season as they could do. It is probably the most important subject in the future of our support. If the kids don't do it like we did when we were youth, who will carry on out sport when we are gone ? No one and our sport is in the history books for good. I'm not a game monger and I will say I get more satisfaction see my 11 year old nephew and 12 year old daughter be successful in PAs woods then myself. That smile and the look on thier faces just totally make my hunting career complete. I wish other I. Our ranks felt the same way.
