Daylight slaving time is here, spring is just around the corner, the weather is breaking, and I have a bad case of cabin fever. It is time to check out Camp Rip-N-Tear to see if it is still standing. I'm leaving sometime soon and will return tomorrow. Keep the baby, Faith.

Best wishes, old one. Sometimes I wish mine was close enough for a quick trip.
Other times, I'm glad it is over three hours away.

Don't blame you a bit Mut. Yesterday I walked a gamelands road (ParkHill ) two miles out and back the same road. saw 5 deer a lot of tracks but not one turkey track. a beautiful day it was and got a sunburn on my face for my birthday.
Worked up an appetite and stopped at Florida Fryed Chicken in Tioga for catfish sweet potato casserole coleslaw and tea. Got mama a chocolate milk shake, she was in the hospital all week and needed a treat.

Camp is still there. When I got there on Sunday there was about 4 inches of slushy snow left. By the time I left on Monday it was just about gone. Spring is coming, ready or not. Lots of deer tracks and sign, which indicates that some did survive hunting season and winter. No bear sign as yet. fired up the grill and did a steak for supper. For some strange reason such always tastes better when done at camp.

Maybe he cleans camp like I do: Wait for a windy day, open all the windows and both doors, let Mother Nature clean the place out as best she can.

Nah. Spring doesn't come until a couple of weeks from now. I will run the vacuum then. Let's think about some day in August for the get-together? What day of the week suits best for most of us? Being as I'm retired (or is it retard?) any old day suits me. As of now, the only day I have anything scheduled is Friday August 9 (doctor app't).
