We had a 700 pounder killed across the road from us several years ago. I swear I had it on a trail cam. Never saw anything that huge.

I had one on camera the last couple years here in Jersey that had to be over 800 lbs more like 900+... Was like a black stretch VW...Had numerous pics of him throughout the fall... Jersey you can bait and he was hitting the bait pile every day. Since our wonderful governor stopped hunting of bears on public land last year, I never set a camera up where he was living.. I'm sure he is still there as its quite a hike in from the car... Just for the record I'm against baiting however when in Rome you have to do as the Romans do.. Good thing was I was way back in and had alot of bears on camera including several sows with cub's... I felt the more I baited the safer they were from getting shot as I was keeping them way back off the beaten path... I was passing on them everyday... And after the season I was still getting pics of them..That year we had an early archery season that lasted a week, also that week Thurs. Fri. Sat muzzle loaders could be used. I had an offer to work that week and opted to just go with the muzzle loader Thurs thru Sat. as it would be a slam dunk... Well he was there twice each day Mon.-Wed. I sat Thurs. thru Sat. dark to dark and he never showed... Go figure..
