I see that has passed in the House Game and Fisheries Committee. Perhaps Mel will have more info on the exact wording and subsequent procedures?
Know it will have to go through a referendum, as an amendment to the PA Constitution.

Wonder if that right would be extended to us 6 days of the week or 7?
Wonder if the right to bear arms is a 6 day thing, or is it a 7 day thing?

Notice they said "subject to restrictions relating to species, seasons, limits, methods, locations and licensure, including suspension and revocation, as prescribed by the laws of this Commonwealth."
Meaning, we have the right, as they think it should be.

Meaning, we have the right, as they think it should be. Yes, same as the right to hunt in Virginia, which isn't a right because the Legislature controls everything about the "right", not the people. It is feel good legislation, IMO.

Plus, if Justice Stevens is correct, the PA Constitution contains the right to hunt anyway, and it's a stronger right than Mister Baker wants to give to us.

We shall soon see. And taking that a step further, Stevens said the right to hunt, and the right to bear arms were MORE IMPORTANT than a well organized militia and are both protected by the second. The other courts have agreed with regard to self protection.
Wouldn't it be nice to have it extended to hunting as well, not just in PA; but across the nation? Or to at least have the stage set for that?
