Saturday started off with Jordan and I hitting the spot we wanted to hunt last saturday. We had a good wind so went in early and set up.A little after 7:10am three big doe and a couple fawns came down the hill hill in front of me.They were in a pretty big hurry so I was hoping a buck was harassing them.I didn't get to find out because as soon as they walked out of sight I herd a dull thud and deer ran all over the place.Jordan made a good quartering away shot and the deer piled up within sight of his stand. We took care of the deer and then took the pup out for some birds. It was getting late, pressured and warm but Bailey went on point within 10 minutes of getting out of the truck and Jordan dropped a bird cockbird with the second shot.My daughter was home for the weekend from college and she tagged along as moral support for the dog.I honestly feel bad for people who never get a chance to experience this stuff with their kids.
