Since there's no chopped corn at my Goose Farm the farmer offered that I could hunt one of his other close by farms. Didn't take long for a Loner to pitch in and Miss Annie got her first retrieve of 2018. A nearby farm had geese using the field last evening so McNabb was brought outta retirement to keep the geese from landing there this morning. LOL! Worked like a charm.

Are they alive enough when they hit the ground to fight back?I know tame geese can be miserable buggers.

Yeah, a crippled goose could be intimidating to a young dog but most waterfowl dogs learn to handle that flopping pile of wings. Miss Annie is like a frieght train when she tackles a crippled goose.

Gotta be the most useful thing McNabb has ever accomplished, right there?
