Thought I'd post a pic of an otter my cousin's son caught 2 years ago here in Lancaster County, just upstream from Speedwell Forge Lake. Released, unharmed.

A few years ago while floating the Swatara Creek in late flintlock season we saw a pair of them around the Lebanon, Dauphin Co line. Couldnt get my camera out of my pack fast enough.

I had a guy, a few weeks ago, tell me that I would never believe what he saw here in Lancaster County. By golly, he saw a MINK. I had to laugh, have seen them roadkilled here a number of times, and some guys trap them.
He thought they were rare.

We have in the bay & back baysin Ocean City, NJ. If you leave your minnow bucket in the water it better have a very good locking system to keep it from opening, otherwise the local otters will have a nice meal on your dime.
