Lol, mergansers do always have a ton of little ones They're so cute.In the ponds near our condo I have seen ducks rearing a brood only to see them disappear one at a time.Once I saw a large snapper surface and submerge there.Dutch,do you remember Bingeman's restaurant and the snapper soup they offered when his buddy would catch some?

I remember Bingys but only ate there a couple times. One old guy I mowed lawn for in the 70s caught snappers for the Young Man's Business League. We caught some for him as well. They were famous for their snapper suppers back then
