three broods of grouse all within 1/2 mile of each other What I could count 4in the first, 7 in the second, 3 in the third. First and third broods had difficulty flying out of the taller grass the second brood was stronger. Unfortunately all 3 mamas had broken wings....
Other news to report is the mountain laurel is getting near peak! and another dead bear in the dump

Hope the west nile doesn't get them. Of course, maybe with the low numbers of the two broods, it may have gotten them already
