Spent the last 1&1/2 weeks at Camp chasing the elusive Gobbler here in the vast Wilderness of the Sproul State Forest. Just when it seems like it'll never happen, 3 Long Beards came in yesterday and at 9:10 AM the 15lb 7oz Gobbler with a 10.5 inch beard took a direct hit. Felt Good. Where it laid with the Fan all spread out. Small spurs on this fellow.

Was there yesterday myself, never heard a bird. Did have a jake cross 144 on way home. Saw a few deer also.
