Duck hunting in Cape May County has been around for 300 years. If you have ever gunned the Salt Water of NJ this 18 minute video is worth the time. Even if you've never duck hunted this video shows the rich heritage of duck hunting, it's like looking at all the old deer hunting pics. Only much better! LOL Anyway, I never like telling the internet where I duck hunt but I'll tell you guys this is exactly where all my past 25 years of ducking has occurred. Look closely at the map in the beginning of the video and you'll see Richardson Sound, which is my go to Honey Hole. I know I can trust you men not to tell anybody where I hunt! Enjoy.

Anyone that has a goose pooping in flight on their avatar, .......may have a love of hunting birds that live on the water.

I used to like hunting the resident Canada goose population around here. Three things I make out of goose meat that are pretty good are goose jerky, goose sausage, and goose bologna. We tried roasted goose breast, but it wasn't something we would make again. I got out of the habit of going for them. Not sure why. It was fun. I've done a lot of hunting, but one thing I have never done is duck hunting. The image of slowly freezing to death in a duck blind withboth feet immersed in cold water just didn't appeal to me for some reason.

I was gonna say Mutt that been in the water with cold feet shore beats sittin on the couch. But maybe not when that couch is warm and comfy. The original quote was, "A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work." ~Author Unknown. The thought is profound, and has been applied to many activities, even including golf. Not sure I would include golf, though. Not sure I want to spend a day with my feet that cold, but there are alternatives. I've spend days in tree stands with my feet numb, so maybe duck hunting wouldn't be much worse?
